Small World Farm began in May 2021 when Claire Bowen and her husband Patrick purchased the 670 tree orchard. The well established apple trees sit on just over 2 acres of land and formerly functioned as a secondary growing location for another local orchard. The Bowens, whose family home abuts the orchard, have made a promise to transition the apple trees and small roadside parcel from conventional growing methods to organic methods. This also includes an eco-friendly and sustainable approach to farming and business. In their current and fourth growing season they are working to complete their organic certification, making it the second organic apple orchard in the State of Rhode Island.

Small World Farm is a family business that hopes its idyllic orchard, flower fields and traditional post and beam farm stand becomes the setting for your family’s annual traditions and seasonal local shopping.
